Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
InfiniBoard is a clipboard manager for macOS. We built it so that your data stays on your Mac. This policy explains what that means in practice.
SUMMARY
InfiniBoard does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
DATA STORED ON YOUR MAC
To work, InfiniBoard keeps the following on your Mac:
- Your clipboard history (text, links, code, images, files, and colors you copy)
- Your snippets and templates
- Your app settings
This data is stored only on your device. It is encrypted with a key held in your macOS Keychain. We never receive it and cannot access it.
You can delete any item at any time. You can also turn off saved history, so your clipboard is cleared when the app quits. Uninstalling InfiniBoard and removing its app data deletes everything it stored.
SENSITIVE CONTENT
InfiniBoard detects common secrets, such as passwords, API keys, tokens, private keys, and card numbers, when you copy them. Detected secrets are hidden on screen, excluded from search, and never passed to the on-device AI features. You can also have them deleted automatically after a set time.
ON-DEVICE AI (OPTIONAL)
The AI features are off by default. If you turn them on, InfiniBoard downloads open-source model files one time from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). This download is a standard HTTPS request for public files and includes no personal data or identifiers. As with any website, Hugging Face may see the IP address making the request. Their handling of that is covered by their own privacy policy.
After the download, all AI processing happens entirely on your Mac. Your clipboard content is never sent to us, to Hugging Face, or to anyone else.
TEXT RECOGNITION
Text in copied images is recognized on your Mac using Apple's built-in Vision framework. No images or text leave your device.
NETWORK ACCESS
Apart from the optional model download described above, InfiniBoard makes no network requests. Links you click inside the app open in your own web browser.
PERMISSIONS
InfiniBoard asks for macOS Accessibility permission only so that it can paste the item you select into the app you are using. It does not use this permission to read, record, or monitor anything else on your screen.
YOUR RIGHTS
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. All of your data is on your own Mac and under your control. If you have questions about your rights under data protection laws such as the GDPR, contact us using the details below.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date at the top.
